On the attacke at Liege-Bastogne-Liege

In an action-packed week in the Ardennes you can choose to include any/all of the Amstel Gold Race, Fleche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège on your itinerary. Challenge yourself on the iconic bergs, côtes and murs, then sit back with a Belgian beer and watch the pros make the climbs look easy.

We start the trip on a Saturday, with transfers from your arrival airport (or the Eurostar rail hub) and a short warm-up ride. On the first Sunday we concentrate our day and our rides on finding the best spectating opportunities at the Amstel Gold Race. Expect to spend part of the afternoon riding and then viewing the race finale from the famous Cauberg climb.

For Tuesday & Wednesday our focus transfers to the pretty town of Huy and the always-exciting Fleche-Wallonne events (there is a world class Women's race as well as the long-established Men's classic). Riding the final 80-100km of the race route on Tuesday we will have every opportunity of sharing the roads with the top pro teams as they 'recce' the race. Then on Wednesday we'll join the crowds on the iconic Mur de Huy where the 22% gradients are often race-deciding and always fantastic to watch.

We'll tackle more 'bergs' on our Thurday and Friday rides before heading towards Liège for the weekend - first for a Saturday recce of the closing 70km of 'La Doyenne' of cycling's one-day classics and then on Sunday to leapfrog (by car) to 2 or 3 of the best vantage points as the pros attack the decisive climbs of Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Finally we will be able to drop you at the Eurostar rail hub or at Brussels airport on Sunday evening for journeys home.
