"I have ridden in Mallorca, the Canary Islands and other parts of Spain for my spring training in the past, but the Marina Alta is better for how I want to ride than any of those other locations. Not as over-crowded as Mallorca, but with superbly varied terrain and fabulous road conditions. I can see why so many pro tems come to the region each year."

Whether you are looking for a structured training camp to kick-start your pre-season fitness & preparations or a warm-weather cycling holiday to take you away from less enjoyable weather at home, we'll have something to suit.
Our base is in the Marina Alta region of Spain - one of the driest and warmest microclimates on the Iberian peninsular. The variety of terrain, quality of road surfaces and absence of traffic brings professional and amateur riders to the region in their droves throughout the winter and spring. We offer two very flexible style of trips in this part of Spain - one where the emphasis is purely on 'enjoying the ride' and the other with a more structured approach to training and fitness improvement.
The 'holiday, not a training camp' option gives you complete flexibility to ride exactly what you want each day. Our inland location keeps you away from the busier coastal roads but provides easy access to moderate climbs, rolling terrain or easy recovery rides. You can create dozens of riding routes varying from gentle 30km 'café loops' all the way up to 160km replicas of major cyclosportives or Vuelta a España stages.
For those with more 'formal' training objectives, you can give your fitness and endurance a great boost with a solid week of hilly/mountainous riding. We'll suggest daily routes of around 100-120km with 1500-2000m of elevation gain and plenty of opportunities to build in 'interval training'. You choose which days to opt into and when to factor in a recovery ride or two.
